Nombre Temporary Assistance Act



Nombre Temporary Assistance Act (NTAA)

NTAA requires eligibility process for all applicants. This is a temporary assistance progam for Nombre citizens in need. NTAA will provide assistance to anyone that qualifies for the program. There is a sixty day maximum of assistance and may be used one time every two years. This is a program designed to assist families or individuals in need of medical, food, shelter, and money.

Reasons for needing assistance:
            *Deceased Spouse
            *Loss of Job
             *Severe Illness

Benefits:
            *Full Medical and Dental Benefits
            *Temporary Shelter
            *Food Vouchers
            *Financial Assistance Based on Family Size


Unlawful Acts by citizens:
            *Nombre citizens shall not interfere or harass any person receiving assistance.
            *No citizen shall apply for assistance more than on time in a two year period
            *All food vouchers must be used to assist the family and shall not be exchanged for     money or drugs. This will result in loss of citizenship with no exceptions.
            *All financial assistance shall be used to provide for the family. Any financial assistance used for drugs will result in loss of citizenship with no exceptions.

Enforcement:
            *Nombre will take legal actions to have any citizen and their family removed from the island if they are found guilty in the act of abusing the system of temporary assistance.
            *A half day trial will be held and all evidence for or against the defendant will need to be presented in that four hour period. A final judgment shall be made at the end of trial.

Timeframe:
            *Nombre citizens are only eligible for Temporary Assistance one time in a two year period with a maximum of sixty days.
            *At the maximum of sixty days, Nombre citizen receiving assistance shall resume employment. If employment has not been accomplished the citizen shall be assigned a position with the country of Nombre.

What source do the funds come from?
            *Every citizen shall pay 1% of their yearly income and it shall be applied to the fund of that citizen number.  The Country of Nombre shall match equally the amount collected and shall remain in the fund up to the age of 65 at which time the funds shall be transferred to retirement fund of such citizen number and dispersed over the following forty years.
