ABORTION:
The abortion must be before the first trimester of pregnancy, with the exception of crime related pregnancies, in which case the abortion may take place up until the infant is able to survive independently of the mother, in which case the state will adopt the baby and the abortion is not permitted. Psychiatric evaluations are required of all prospective patients prior to the procedure. This does not include crime victims.
The state will fund and sponsor adoption, education, and contraception to mitigate the number of abortions as well as to offer alternative solutions to women. If the abortion is voluntary, the patient must bear all costs and burdens; if the abortion patient is a crime victim, the state will subsidize a portion of the cost of an abortion based on need.
It is the physician's duty to report the condition of the baby to the mother at every stage of pregnancy, including any genetic abnormalities or complications.
EUTHANASIA:
Euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide are permitted under circumstances approved by a licensed physician. The methods therein are decided by the patient and the physician jointly.
A potential candidate for assisted suicide or euthanasia must undergo a psychiatric evaluation, and there is a 90-day waiting/cool off period with mandatory counseling prior to the procedure, although the length of the waiting period may be shortened by the operating physician with the consent of the patient under circumstances of prognosis, diagnosis, and/or quality of life issues.
If a patient is unable to authorize the procedure by their own volition, the physician is to consult the patient's will, followed by the next of kin.

I believe someone should be able to be assisted in taking their own life if that person so desires. I believe should be required to talk to a certified counselor or doctor prior to making that final decision, but after that I believe they are their own person.
